One of the joys of running is how it encourages you to get outside and explore your local area on foot. And if you're looking for a reason to visit more of your local parks and green spaces, Parkrun is a fantastic reason to get you out the house, meeting new people and exploring the green spaces of Glasgow.

Parkrun Takes Place in Hundreds of Parks

With over 700 locations across the UK, Parkrun events take place in a huge variety of parks and open spaces. From big city parks like Pollok Park to smaller local recreation spaces like Ruchill. What's great is that these are often parks you may never have thought to visit before. We can all be guilty of sticking to the same old routes close to home. But with Parkrun, you have the impetus to seek out new green spaces further afield.
